Forest Ranch

To climb up to the tiny foothill town of Forest Ranch, all you need to do is head up Hwy 32 east of Hwy 99. The climb is mostly steady - and a pretty good road. The pitfall of this climb is the traffic. It is a busy highway and cars do fly by you. Be careful on this road.

Chico Velo Cycling Club has been hosting an 11.2 mile Time Trial up this road for the last 26 years. Time to beat is 36:24 by Albert Dahl.
