Dear Geno,
Welcome to the First Anniversary Issue of Chico
Cycling. It is hard to think that I have pumped out 12 of
these already. Sometime it is fun and sometimes
they get in the way of life but the positive
response keeps me going. Thanks.
This newsletter is a gift from the Chico Corsa Cycling
Club. Our hope is that we inspire you to help Chico
become a better cycling town then it already is. If you
love cycling and would like to improve your
speed or endurance or you want to race or
just see racing back in Chico, join us at one of our
monthly club meetings and meet others with
interests like yours.

A Word from the President

Don't tell my Wife but I lust another...
I have lusted others before. How can I help it? Some
have a traditional beauty that just make me stop and
stare, others have that intoxicating exotic look and
others are just flat out sexy. Until recently I have been
able to control myself and keep my feelings privet.
But now my ever turning head has given me up. I have
been caught. So, now I have to go public, you all
should know that I not only want to give her gentile
sponge baths I want to get hot a sweaty riding her
hard. I can't get her out of my mind. Her name is...

"Why Does My Butt Hurt While Riding?"
|
|
By James Plummer
As a physical therapist, this question gets thrown in
my direction more than any other. And for good
reason, cycling is just not easy on our butts. When
you break down the position we assume for our
butts, even on the best-fit bicycles (recumbents
included), the answer becomes clear. So I wanted to
offer a few tips on how we prevent our butts from
aching and what we can do to remedy them. Please
take these tips with the understanding that these are
general tips and specific problems should, of course,
be addressed by your proctologist.
