Dear Geno,
logo

A mid month surprise. In the last issue of our newsletter I forgot to mention a couple of very fun events that are coming up in Chico. This weekend is the Forest Ranch Hill Climb and soon the Jack and Jill TT. The details are below so read on. We hope to see you out there.

This is fun. I love cycling for many reasons. I have been riding...in Spandex anyway... for 24 years and I can not remember a time where I loved this sport more then I do right now. I think what makes it so special now is the Chico cycling community itself. It is amazing. There are so many of us, with so many different political and religious beliefs and financial demographics, yet when you get us in the same room our love of cycling bonds us like a glueless patch to a clean tube. Chico is a great place to be a cyclist.

My vision of Chico cycling is becoming a reality every day. Some of our goals are to represent the Chico community in races and organized endurance events and to bring a race back to Chico. You can help by forwarding this news letter to all of your cycling friends. I will continue to try and promote all the cycling events of our community.
