Centerville

Cohasset

This ride is waiting for someone like you to dream up an excellent description. Note that the images below depict only half the route; to get home, simply retrace your steps.

Cohasset is a great climb. It is long, 10 miles or so to the top and it offers a lot of great scenery. The first 4 miles of the climb are on good wide road. After that, the road becomes narrower...and throws some nice pitches at you! Cars do fly up and down this road at speeds too fast for comfort - so it is important to file up when you hear a car coming. Note that the images below depict only half the route; to get home, simply retrace your steps.

Fast 50

Forest Ranch

This is the weekly suffer fest that we join when we feel that our lives aren't hard enough already. Dominated by the local powerhouse riders who really just don't know how strong they are. The images below depict the entire route.

To climb up to the tiny foothill town of Forest Ranch, all you need to do is head up Hwy 32 east of Hwy 99. The climb is mostly steady - and a pretty good road. The pitfall of this climb is the traffic. It is a busy highway and cars do fly by you. Be careful on this road. The images below depict the entire route.
