Geno is a self-employed business consultant who has a love for cycling in Chico. Seeing the need for a race club in Chico, he handpicked seven others that wanted to better cycling in Chico to be the first Board of Directors for our club. With the leadership and passion of this first board, we brought a Downtown criterium back to Chico. Geno is anxious to bring his other ambitious goals for cycling in Chico to life as well.

After a twenty-year break from racing he got the bug to compete again. Geno's passion has passed on to his wife and two kids who now enjoy cycling and racing. Geno hopes their passion for cycling will be contagious as well.

Jeff Ochs, Secretary

Jeff's responsibilities as Secretary include the yearly clothing order, managing team inventory and keeping the club somewhat organized at meetings. When he's not doing that, he spends time with his beautiful wife and daughter and is the principal of two alternative-education high schools in Oroville, CA.

When he actually gets to ride his bikes, Jeff enjoys time trialing, racing road and cyclocross, and gets in an occasional mountain bike ride. He's done a few S24O bike camping trips and toured down the coast. He looks forward to more adventures on the bike, especially if it can include the family.

Jeffrey Galland, Board Member

Jeffrey is a board-certified anesthesiologist practicing at Feather River Hospital since 2004, and is the current president of Paradise Anesthesia Associates Medical Group. He has been racing road bicycles competitively since 1997, and in his own modest words, "[I] have met with moderate success." We know better.

More, in Jeffrey's own words: "I have a passion for competitive cycling! I have never been involved with a better club/team than Chico Corsa. They inspire me. I enjoy passing on those things I have learned that were previously passed on to me (by far better cyclists than myself or that I just had to learn the hard way). I support just about any cycling endeavor, not just racing. I hope to be a positive influence on the Chico area cycling community."
