In
our infancy, we have nothing but
ideas and energy about how to
make Chico California, the greatest
cycling community in the USA,
even better. What Chico was missing
was a Race Club. We started with
the goal of racing but have found
that most of our members just
want to ride faster the slow group
without killing themselves trying
to keep up with the fast group.
We think we fill that need.
Chico
has a great, long standing cycling
club, Chico
Velo, which has been doing
a fantastic job advocating cycling
safety with our local government,
providing organized weekly rides
and promoting organized century
rides. We encourage all of our
members to also support Chico
Velo via membership in the club.
Chico
Velo has not promoted a race
in years and is not a race club.
In part, this is why Chico Corsa
was born.
